Scrap price questions

What is the scrap rate per kg today?
There is no single rate for all scrap. Use the listed price for your material as a reference, check its unit and update time, then confirm a current quote. Grade, condition, quantity and location affect the amount a buyer can offer.
How do I compare a price per kg with a price per tonne?
One metric tonne is 1,000 kg. Divide a per-tonne quote by 1,000 to compare it with a per-kg quote. Check that both quotes cover the same material grade, accepted weight, loading, transport and payment terms.
Are Kerala scrap rates the same across India?
No. A quote in Kerala can differ from a quote elsewhere because of the buyer, material grade, quantity, loading requirements and transport distance. KN TRADERS is based in Pattambi, Kerala, and reviews enquiries from sellers across India.
How is the final amount for my scrap calculated?
The starting calculation is accepted net weight multiplied by the agreed rate for that grade. Confirm any deductions, loading or transport charges and applicable taxes before the sale. A photo-based estimate can change after inspection and weighing.
